Why we use both?
If we only use Passive treatment, you'll feel great for a day, but the problem will return. If we only use Active treatment, it might be too painful to start. We use the passive tools to "buy us a window" so we can do the active work that actually cures the condition.
Passive Treatments: The Facilitators
Manual Therapy
Gentle handling to restore joint movement.
Best for: Acute stiffness & Nerve tension.
Healing & Relaxation
Resetting muscle tone and increasing local blood flow.
Best for: Trigger points & Muscle spasms.
Modalities
High-energy sound waves to stimulate cellular healing.
Best for: Tendonitis & Scar tissue.
Sensory & Soothing
Managing the nervous system by switching off the threat mode.
Best for: chronic pain & fatigue.
Transitioning to Strength
As your pain levels drop, we decrease the "Passive" modalities and increase the "Active" load. This chart shows how a typical 12-week program for Tendonitis or Back Pain evolves.
Active Treatments: The Game Changers
S&C / Hypertrophy
Building raw muscle and tendon strength. We use Time Under Tension to ensure your tissues can handle high forces without breaking.
CRUCIAL FOR: Back Pain, GTPS, Knee OA.
Plyo & Agility
Teaching your body to handle Impact. Drills and speed work prepare you for the sudden movements of daily life or sport.
CRUCIAL FOR: Ankle Sprains, ACL, Running Health.
Education & Advice
Understanding Why it happened. We teach you how to manage your own load and spot "warning signs" before a flare-up occurs.
CRUCIAL FOR: Long-term prevention & Self-Management.
Customizing Your Strategy
Not every condition needs the same mix. A Stiff Back might need more Manual Therapy initially, while Achilles Tendonitis requires heavy Strength and Shockwave.
Prevention is the End Goal
Through education and structured conditioning, we don't just solve your current pain—we build the Agility and Strength to ensure you never have to see us for the same reason twice.
