A registered clinician reads every request. There is no automated matching, no obligation to book, and you always see the price before you commit.
A few questions about the condition, where you are, and how soon you need someone. Takes about two minutes.
Reviewed within 24 hours. We check the request is something physiotherapy can help with, and flag anything that needs your GP or NHS 111 first.
You are introduced to a practitioner who covers your area and works with your condition. They confirm their own availability and fees with you directly.
Book if it feels right, or tell us it does not and we will look again. You pay the practitioner, and only once you have agreed to go ahead.
"Physiotherapist" is a protected title in the UK. Anyone using it must be on the Health and Care Professions Council register, and that register is public, so you can check ours yourself.
HCPC registration checked
We check every practitioner's registration before they take a referral, and we give you their number when we introduce them, so you can check the register yourself. Our founder is PH129236.
Insured, and specialist where it counts
Chartered Society of Physiotherapy membership and professional indemnity insurance, plus the specialist bodies for each field: AACP, POGP, MACP, ACPIN and others. What these mean.
Led by clinicians
PhysioNearby was founded by Mo Wong, a First Class Honours physiotherapy graduate of Sheffield Hallam University with NHS ward experience. Read why we started.
We publish what we actually do
1,836
exercise prescriptions
in a single year
594
different exercises
across that caseload
56
exercises make up half
of everything prescribed
Most clinics tell you they personalise your plan. We keep the data that shows it. Figures are from our Caseload Prescription Report of 3 July 2026, and the full report is available on request from info@physionearby.uk.
Getting matched is free. There is no fee for sending a request, and no card details are taken on this site.
Practitioners set their own fees. They vary by service, by location, and by whether the session is at your home, at a clinic, or online. Home visits usually cost more than clinic sessions because of travel time.
You see the price before you commit. The practitioner quotes you directly, and you decide from there. If you would like a sense of the range before you send a request, ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is typical for your area and service.
Some services can be claimed on private health insurance. Check your level of cover with your insurer before booking.
Part of reviewing a request is recognising the ones we should not take. The form asks a short safety question on the clinical routes, and some symptoms need same-day medical attention rather than a physiotherapy booking.
Contact urgent care, not us, if you have:
Call 999 in an emergency, or NHS 111 for urgent advice. You are still welcome to register a request so we are ready once you are cleared to start rehab.
Two minutes to tell us what you need. A clinician reads it within 24 hours.
